Fabrication Of A Stainless Steel Condenser

At Imperial Steel we fabricate ASME stamped pressure vessels for a wide variety of industries and applications. The condenser shown here is used to condense water vapor and has a capacity of 207 gallons. The 235″ long cylindrical vessel is constructed of 304 stainless steel and has an outside diameter of 16″. To fabricate this condenser, 0.188″ thick steel sheet material was formed and welded to customer specifications, holding tolerances of ±0.25″ where noted.
This condenser is designed for an internal operating pressure of 67 psig and an external pressure of 15 psig. We can provide design and engineering assistance when needed to optimize designs for manufacturability and verify all application requirements are met. Visual and dimensional inspections were performed throughout the fabrication process to verify conformance to all customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
In addition to fabrication, we can assemble vessels with accompanying accessories such as sight glasses, internal components and add pots. These accessories may be off the shelf or custom fabricated as needed. For additional details regarding this custom stainless steel pressure vessel, see the table below, or contact us directly.
